In my last poem all comment that they wanted to see a happy post soon… Well, I am not sure when that happy post will be published!! But this post wills enlist 10 things that really do make me happy!!

In my life, I always knew what I don’t want… what I hate… what makes me sad… But never knew what really makes me happy!! As I started to write this post so many things came in my mind… it actually enlighten me that gosh, I like so many things from which I just have to choose only 10!!

This post is dedicated to SEPO who really made me think what brings happiness in my life!!!!

Chocolate: There are many chocolates in market but I love the Indian brunette bar the most… Cadbury dairy milk or Cadbury Silk (the current savor)!! And do you know where CADBURY Company is located…?? Just 2 miles away from the place I stay! It’s my dream job to work at that place in Quality Control where I am officially allowed eat as many Chocó bar as I want!!

Sunset near the beach: A walk along the marine lines gazing at the departing sun and listening to the splashing sea waves on the wall… swinging in and out… walking by the chaupati, where you can feel the cool water on your feet, and the rushing sand under the toes…

3. Local trains: Yes!! Being Mumbaikar they do make me really happy!! Of course not those crowded one in the morning where if one fails to put a deodorant in morning, it will so happen that you when you are out of the train you have the adorable fragrance of the one clinging next to you! I love special the early morning travel, that too downside, where you’re travelling from Thane to Dombivili to Karjat & Kasara! I just love hanging around the poles of the trains… feeling the gushing wind on face… when the cool breeze plays with your open hair…

. Balloons: Bigger the better!! I guess I love this write from the time I was born!! My mom always tells me the story that, when I was kid I required a new balloon everyday and never demanded any other toy!! So, she had engaged a balloon seller to deliver a balloon every morning! Now days, when I see those kids playing with balloons, I find it very adorable but at the same time I am so so jealous of them!!

. Laughing: When my family sits together, and we laugh on most minor and trivial issues till we get rolling on the floor!

A big Bear hug from my love: Feels like I am the most protected person on this earth…! It’s a speechless experience where 26 alphabets and millions of word combination become so trifling to explain…

. The family fight: No, no!! Not the real one! It’s what we called as love wrestling!! It’s our family game!!We fight like small kids, but we have fun as if we are best pals!! We have battle with most hits and most kissed! Normally the match is between me and my dad where mom is a referee! Its total fun for which I, infact we 3, wait eagerly every time!

Lost weight: I guess it’s on every gals’ happiness list!! I know even the size zero Kareena must have it on her list!! Anyway for me, let the weight lost be even 100gram I know that day I would be the happiest person on the earth!! Then I celebrate it by indulging in chocolates and end up with the 200 grams greater weight that before!!

Pani-Puri: Muumuu! Dont have words for that! My mouth has already started watering… Bye… I am out to have those!!

BEING IN TWENTIES - SOMETHING









It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start
realizing that there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and
may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year
or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.











You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that
you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have
ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most
important ones. What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that too,
and aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are as confused
as you.








You look at your job... and it is not even close to what you thought you would
be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going
to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.












You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and
scared and confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling on to
the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and
further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move
forward.












You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage
to you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough
that you want to get to know better. Or
maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why
you're doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person. One night
stands and random hook ups start to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like
an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and
questions over and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics
because you cannot seem to make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the
future and making a life for yourself... and while winning the race would be
great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!












What you may not realize is that every one reading this relates to it. We are
in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure
this whole thing out.



This is called as "Quarter-life
Crisis."

Part II

Sports - The Golden Eye of year 2010...

Individual brilliance shone through in record-breaking medal hauls at Commonwealth and Asian Games while the iconic Sachin Tendulkar raised the bar further on the cricket field in what turned out to be a golden year for Indian sports.

There were moments of pure ecstasy when the country's athletes notched up 101 medals (including 38 gold) in the Commonwealth Games here and 64 (14 gold) in the Asian Games in Guangzhou.

It was the best ever medal haul in both events for a nation which hardly looks beyond cricket on its sporting calendar.

Speaking of India's unofficial national sport, cricket, there were cherishable moments all through 2010 and Tendulkar provided two of the biggest ones by fittingly becoming the first batsman to pull off a double century in one-dayers at the beginning of the year before signing off with another first of recording 50 Test hundreds.

But for a change, cricket and Tendulkar did not matter for at least 14 days in October as India hosted its biggest sporting event after the 1982 Asian Games.

The 19th Commonwealth Games were supposed to showcase India as the next big sporting destination but left fans with mixed feelings after a botched build-up but a historic medal haul.

The athletes were undoubtedly on an unprecedented high at the event in front of home fans but the administrators touched a nadir when they made the country a subject of international mockery with preparations so shoddy that it seemed that top participating nations would give the Games a miss.

In fact, administrators were the only source of embarrassment for Indian sports this year because going by on-field performance, 2010 can easily be counted among the most successful in Indian sporting history. At the centre of it all was Suresh Kalmadi!!

The wrangling between the Sports Ministry and National Sports Federations over tenure limitation guidelines was also a messy chapter in Indian sports this year with administrators insisting on unlimited hold on their positions while the government calling for more accountability through time-bound tenures.

The ugly developments, however, could not take the sheen off the massive achievements on the field.

Starting with cricket, 2010 will definitely be a year which will be etched in the memories of cricket crazy Indians for two of the most astonishing feats in world cricket.

A new chapter in Indian cricket unfolded in Gwalior when Tendulkar became the first man to score a double hundred in one-dayers -- South Africa being the team at the receiving end.

But the maestro never stops from creating a higher benchmark for himself which elevates him to a different pedestal --- many notches above his peers.

That's what happened when he scored the historic 50th Test century at the Supersport Park -- once again South Africa being the opponents -- earlier this month.

In an eventful year, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his band of brave hearts did well to sustain their top position among the Test playing nations.

The blot that will still remain despite a good year will certainly be the failure to reach the semi-finals of the World Twenty20 Championship in West Indies having failed to achieve the goal in England, the previous year too.

It was also the year that saw the epic downfall of Lalit Modi who was ousted from the BCCI and his brainchild IPL for alleged misappropriation of funds and trying to 'fix' the auction of teams.

If that wasn't enough, two teams that enjoyed Modi's backing -- the Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab -- were barred from competing by the Indian cricket board, a decision that was challenged by both franchises in court and after getting favorable verdict are now likely to compete in the fourth edition of the cash-rich league.

On to the badminton court and Saina Nehwal continued her giant strides, breaking through the 'Great Wall of China' with five international titles to become the world number two in a highly successful 2010.

After a highly promising last year during which she won the Indonesian title, Saina proved once again why she is the brightest star in Indian badminton as she went several steps ahead this year.

The Hyderabadi became the first female Indian shuttler to win three back-to-back titles when she clinched the Indian Open Grand Prix Gold, Singapore Super Series and defended the Indonesian Open in June.

But the icing on the cake came in October when the 20-year-old won the Commonwealth Games gold medal at the Sri Fort Complex.

She didn't stop there and her insatiable hunger for success guided her to a third Super Series title when she won the Hong Kong Open last month to wipe out the disappointment of losing in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games.

Twin honours at the national level added to her aura as she was conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and Padma Shri awards.

History was also scripted in the swimming pool when a 19-year-old Virdhawal Khade produced a performance to remember by ending Indian swimming's 24-year-old medal drought in the Asian Games, holding out promise for a better future.

The strapping six-footer from Kolhapur clinched a bronze in the 50m butterfly event of the Asian Games in Guangzhou, the India's second swimming medal at the event after Khazan Singh's 200m butterfly.

But even there, Para-swimmer Prasanta Karmakar became the first Indian swimmer to fetch a medal by winning a bronze in the 50m freestyle event.

In the boxing ring, the year started with an unprecedented gold rush and ended pretty much the same way as new heights were scaled with Olympic hero Vijender Singh once again leading the charge by clinching two gold medals and a bronze.

The season began with three gold medals in the South Asian Games in Dhaka in February.

Just a month later, the boxers landed half a dozen gold medals with a cracker of a performance in front of adoring home fans in the Commonwealth Championships.

Trading punches in front of crowds that generally don't turn up for non-cricket sporting events in India, Vijender (75kg), South Asian Games gold medallist Amandeep (49kg), Suranjoy (52kg), Asian silver medallist Jai Bhagwan (60kg), Olympian Dinesh Kumar (81kg) and Paramjeet Samota (+91kg) fetched gold to further enhance the sport's rising profile in the country.

The championship, in fact, was just a prelude to a fantastic performance in the Commonwealth Games that were to follow six months later, again in the capital.

It turned out to be a bitter-sweet campaign in the end with Vijender settling for bronze after a controversial loss in the semifinals and defending champion Akhil Kumar (56kg) signing off without a medal following a quarterfinal defeat.

But Suranjoy, Manoj Kumar (64kg) and Paramjit Samota (+91kg) ensured that Indian boxing pulled off its best-ever performance in the Games history by notching up gold medals.

A month later at the Asian Games, the Indian boxers managed a brilliant haul of two gold, three silver and four bronze medals without showing any sign of fatigue. The twin golds -- bagged by Vijender and 18-year-old Vikas Krishan (60kg) -- were the first after Dingko Singh clinched the yellow metal in 1998.

The men had a consistently good run but in the women's arena it was only 'The Magnificent' M C Mary Kom who made an impression.

The Manipuri mother of two added an unprecedented fifth world championship title to her kitty but the rest of the women boxers flopped at the September event, fetching just a bronze to go with Mary Kom's gold.

At the shooting range, fortunes ebbed and flowed but Indian shooters, led by the mercurial Gagan Narang, experienced more highs than lows in a year that saw them clinch a record 30 medals in the Commonwealth Games.

A measly haul of eight medals in the Asian Games in Guangzhou following the high at home was the only blip in an otherwise satisfactory year.

Apart from Narang, there were quite a few others such as Hariom Singh, Ronjan Sodhi, Asher Noria and Tejaswani Sawant who also caught the attention with their exploits over the last 12 months.

Narang and Hariom won quota places for the London Olympics in 2012, Sodhi won gold in the ISSF World Cup in Turkey before repeating his feat in Guangzhou, while Sawant and junior world champion Noria were the two world record holders of the year.

Courtesy her gold in the World Championship in Munich, Sawant became the first woman shooter from India to win the yellow metal.

In tennis, emergence of a new men's singles hope in Somdev Devvarman and resurgence of an injury-ravaged Sania Mirza were the highlights of a memorable 2010.

The country can now look upon Somdev to be the sport's torchbearer in men's singles while the doubles scene also brightens up with the estranged pair of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi reuniting next year -- ending a nine-year separation on the ATP circuit.

Being in and out of the top-100 ranking, Somdev reached a career high of 94 this October and justified his growing stature at the international arena.

He ended the year on a perfect note, by becoming the first Indian to win a tennis singles gold medal at the Asian Games.

The victory also made the 25-year-old one of the most celebrated Indian athletes in the Asian Games as he bagged another gold in the men's doubles along with Sanam Singh, besides the team bronze.

Things were not so rosy for the Indian hockey though. Inspite of the medals in CWG and Asian Games, 2010 was rather disappointing finish for Indian hockey as the men's team managed only a third-place finish in the Guangzhou Asian Games -- a tournament which they were banking on heavily to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics.

Star defender Sardara Singh and teenage sensation Rani Rampal's inclusion in the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) All-Star men's and women's teams at the end of 2010 was the only significant high for Indian hockey in the year, which can be termed as a mixed bag.

Controversies also ruled the roost in the year 2010 -- be it the ongoing power struggle within the game's administrators, players dispute on salaries or the sexual harassment charges against erstwhile women's team coach M K Kaushik.

In track and field, new stars emerged on the horizon as athletes brought unprecedented success to the country with impressive performances in the Commonwealth and Asian Games in a record-breaking 2010.

The year saw Indian athletes bagging a record 12 medals, including two gold, in the Commonwealth Games here while five of the 14 yellow medals at the Asian Games were bagged by country's athletes in Guangzhou.

Krishna Poonia in discus throw, entered her name into India's athletics folklore by becoming the first woman to win an individual gold in the Commonwealth Games which was further made memorable when the country swept the shot-put event by bagging all the medals.

India's 12 medals in CWG's athletics competition were two more than the number it won in all the earlier editions.

One month later in Guangzhou, the athletes bagged five gold, two silver and five bronze with new track sensation Ashwini Akkunji and Joseph Abraham clinching a rare gold double by winning men's and women's 400m hurdles in the Asian Games.

On the golf course, Arjun Atwal's historic title triumph on the PGA Tour was the high point of an otherwise moderate year.

Atwal, a former Asian Tour number one, scripted history by emerging as the first Indian to win on the US PGA Tour at the Wyndham Championship in August.

He was also the first Monday qualifier in 24 years to win a tournament on the PGA Tour.

Some less talked about sports also made a mark. Indian archers had some hits as well as misses as they became a force to reckon with, ahead of the London Olympics in two years time.

The emergence of 16-year-old Deepika Kumari and the stunning comeback by 2004 Olympian Tarundeep Rai after being in the sidelines for about two years were some high points of 2010.

Daughter of an autorickshaw driver in Ranchi, Deepika was the best performer in the Commonwealth Games when she clinched the gold in individual section and helped the team win another yellow metal.

Asian Games was though a heart-breaking experience for Deepika who faltered to finish fourth in individual section, but the Army archer Tarundeep scripted history by bagging the first ever silver in individual recurve as India also won a bronze medal each in men's and women's team events.

However, the archers bagged just eight medals -- three gold, one silver and four bronze -- of the 24 up for grabs in the CWG.

In cue sports, Pankaj Advani was yet again cynosure of all eyes with his gold medal win at the Guangzhou Asian Games.

But there were disappointments as well. Dope menace ebbed a bit in weightlifting but the country's lifters produced below-par performances in the two multi-sporting events of the year -- Commonwealth Games and Asian Games -- in which they were allowed to take part only after paying a hefty fine to the international parent body.

The lifters could win just eight medals, including two gold, in the CWG, a far cry from the 27 -- 11 gold, nine silver and seven bronze -- in 2002 Manchester Games and less than the three gold, five silver and a bronze the country won in Melbourne in 2006.

On the football field, It was not smooth sailing on the field but off it there have been many positives for Indian football, especially the AIFF's Rs 700 crore commercial deal with IMG-Reliance that is expected to pave the way for a better future for the sport in the country.

The national team continued with its exposure trips to prepare for the Asian Cup next year, touring Portugal where the players got opportunities to train in world class facilities and play against the second and third division clubs in the Iberian country.

In final analysis, year 2010 was a rollercoaster ride for Indian sports in which highs clearly outnumbered the lows.

Good Bye 2010…

As we have crossed the threshold of 2010, I have decided to launch a series called as “Good Bye 2010” reviewing what had happened in the last year with a series of posts!! And what can be more attractive and happening for an Indian blogger to start its series other than our very own “Bollywood”.

As we all have been bitten by the big Bollywood bug and our era doesn’t end without those contemporary latkas and jhatkas I present the “Bollywood- Hollywood of India” as the icebreaker of the series!!

Part I

Bollywood- The Hollywood of India!!!

Starting with, let’s peep in the report card of the Bollywood in year 2010.

I would remark it as “A spicy masala year”. Rarely there was a sight of any movie which had open message to the viewer… Almost all the movie ended up with heroism, dance masti, and item songs!! Specially the sexy and rhythmic “Munni” and “Shaila”!!

The year had total 121 (Please correct me if I am wrong!!) Hindi film releases. But the commercial and the critical successful films just form about 9% from the total. Among the year's highest-grossing films were Dabangg, Golmaal 3, Raajneeti, My Name is Khan, Houseful, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, I Hate Luv Storys, Tees Maar Khan and moderately successful films, such as Anjaana Anjaani, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?, Badmaash Company, Ishqiya, and Peepli Live.

Bollywood have set new mile stones in the year 2010 leading to boost the prestige further more of the highest earned Industry in India.

The biggest Blockbuster Hits of the season, no points for guessing, has been Salman Khans Dabangg with almost 300% profit returns much more than the 3 Idiots of the previous year fame in first week! Dabangg went on to break many collection records previously held by 3 Idiots, netting 14.5 crore on its opening day, 49.11 crore in its opening weekend and 80.87 crore in its first week of business, and is currently the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in India. This film did work smashing economically with its leading female heart throb of the nation Salman Khan in an action cop role and also ameliorated its fans & followers with the audacious performance of the most sexist mom of Indian cinema “Munni”- the gorgeous Malaika Arora Khan!! Also potent actress Sonakshi Sinha was launch with Dabangg.

Furthermore, Golmaal-3 became the 4th film to cross the 100 crore mark in Bollywood and the second largest hit of the year. This was the first time when two Bollywood films in one year grossed more than 700 crores!! Rajneeti was the third biggest hit of the year and missed the 100 crore mark by just around 7 crores. This multi starrer film was the highest grossing film of the year till Dabangg and Golmaal 3. Tees Maar Khan didn’t do grand like expected except the with the item number of India version of Barbie Doll- Katrina Kaifs’ sizzling “Shaila Ke Jawan”!! Thus, the year formed splendid for the chorographer Farah Khan with her two major hits “Munni” and”Shaila”!!! Other medium budge film did surprising well with its story line and performance was Ishqiya(forming first hit of the year), Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Udaan, Tere Bin Laden and Band Baaja Baarat(And even Love Sex and Dhoka worked!!).

But at the same time there were lots of disappointments as many big shot name failed to create the charisma on the box office and thus the films crashed with no traces. One of such film is undoubtedly Hrithik Roshan's Kites, presenting Mexican zing Barbara Mori which was more likely the name “kati patan” which crashed well before it raised high up in the air!! Likewise Guzaarish was another failure for the actor in the year. And for the actress Ash fans with continuous flops like Action Replayy, Ravan, Robot and Guzaarish created havoc among the audience the she no more had the grace and the charisma (Not the actress Kharisma) after getting married!! More than the actors, it was the top named directors who failed to do well this year. Anurag Basu(Kites), Mani Ratnam's (Ravan), Sanjay Leela Bhansali's (Guzaarish) and Vipul Shah (Action Replayy).

Bollywood is never complete with its filmy songs and thus in year 2010, there were more of the feet tapping songs than the incredible films. The full credit goes to their music directors and the singers of the particular song. There were songs like “Munni” and “Shaila” which kept the adrenaline gushing in high speed, romantic numbers like “pee loon” and “dil tho bachha hai jee”, fun folk lore like “gal mitthi mitthi bo”l, remixes like “dhanno”, disco number like “uff teri ada”, heart touching songs like “bin tere”, “sajda” and “zindagi do pal ke”, karaoke songs like “rote kyko hum” and such many more songs! Thus year 2010 offered a wide range of Bollywood acoustics ranging from soft humming numbers to the raunchy urban beats!!

Like ever year the industry have entertained us thoroughly with its comedy, action, drama, thrillers, horror, romance, lust, animation and many more on the list and hoping that like every year in 2011 it will continue growing and entertaining viewers with its dynamic and spicy varieties.

Happy New Year!

With GREAT RESPECT, WITH GREAT LOVE, I welcome you all with all my heart.

Yahoo! Hurray! It’s begun! We’ve crossed the threshold! Here we are in the moonlit new year of 2010. It’s so new. It’s so bright. It’s so transparent. It’s so tender. It’s so caring. It’s so mysterious. It’s delightful. It’s promising. It is sparkles with good humor. It’s so shimmering. It is melodious. It is precious. It carries deep wisdom like the moonlit every year. It is as unique as every other New Year.

Anyway, when the year actually changes, what really happens? But obvious, we too travel with time. It feels great, doesn’t it? Time is such great revealer, such a wise teacher (but unfortunately it kills all its pupils!), such a glorious asset. Time is a sweet companion or sometimes a solid scold. Time is a lover. Time is a secret (Beware you are in for SCARE!). Time is ever playful, ever open and expansive. Time, the great equalizer, resonates with the Truth.

When you are unhappy, times appears to be long. Do recollect the time sitting for an extended, chewing gum type of monotones lecture or meetings?!!?

When you are happy times appears to be too short. At this instant, you feel time is great illusion and lunch time doubly so!!

When mind is dull or unconscious we are unable to experience time. Just give a marathon run and sleep, and then doesn’t the bed seem to be too cozy?? Hush! You’re certainly going for a slumber with not even a tiniest idea of time.

When you feel time is too short then your certainly are restless (or may be too much aware).What the heck, why do the exams comes so soon; I have to study this, write this, by heart this and bla bla bla. Oh, don’t you feel just a week God just a week, I just can’t manage time. OR is it that I am going to take time management lesson just as soon as I can work it in to my schedule!!

When you feel time is too long you are really going to feel miserable (or you may be a bit more too keen type of person.) Don’t you recollect that class-8 or 9, History exam or your Engg. Exam and the person in front of you are writing in a gush and you’re just doing nothing other that playing with your erasers and pencils. How do u feel then...

When you are ahead of time it’s really dragging and boring. For that then simply try being punctual (that too is really sufficient enough in today’s world)!!

And when the time is ahead of you! Phew!! You’re just shocked and surprised. But I think no man goes before time. Ask why?? Because the man’s boss don’t leave him early!! (I know, its a fully faltoo PJ! Ok let’s get going further.)

BUT WHEN you are in high spirits (I just can’t guarantee bout being drunk) and in love (Oh, my my my ...) you simply don’t feel the time. In fact you feel you are the time and events happen in you, just as if the clouds come and go in the sky.

Isn’t it wonderful just to travel with time? When you flow with time, you are not rushing towards the next event. You are not always thinking there is something better waiting just around the end. Nor do you drag your feet, trying to cling to memories of the good old days. (Or do we??) When you are in sync with time, you know you are in the right place, at the right tune, and with the right people. When you move with time, your wisdom grows to elevated pinnacle.

New Year is such a special time, it thought happen (may be for first few days of the so called as New Year but it does happen OK??!) you woke up and your inner courage steeping up to take the re-evolve old but presented in a brand new box of gold and steel to mark the line of New Years Resolution. The Kiss...

Like usual,

The train on platform no. 3 is 5:44 slow train for CST…

The regular hustle and bustle… Masses getting off the train as if sacks of grains have been poked… In that she was trying to figure out the familiar face… The face for who she wait for almost every day at the same time same place for past 2 years…

Here he comes, like every day, a smile on the face and care in the eyes…

“Hi!!” He says like usual…

“Your are late!! I am been waiting here for ages. You don’t have value for my time, do you?? I have been working hard for day. My teacher blabbering on me… my mom….. ” And went on talking nineteen to the dozen!!

Like usual she whines and whimper while walking off the station…

But never has he retorted till day… But why will he?? Both of they were each other savior. It was there love towards each other that kept them bonded for years after years…

“So?” the gal asks, “where are we going today!!? I am bugged with those fries and burger!”

“Its special! Didn’t I tell you on phone…?” He answered.

“Ya, ya, I know its fries, burger and COKE FLOAT today, right??!! Yippee!! Special! ” She grumbled!

Without uttering a word he hired the rickshaw… He grasped her firmly but gently just above her elbow and guided her inside the automobile. He approached her soundlessly, kissed on her forehead and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to her ear.

"Just relax."

His touch was so soothing, so sure, made her so calm and composed as if she was waiting for this in anticipation. The cool December air moved briskly in her open hair. She gave a slight shrug, and partly closed her eyes. Her pounding pulse pacified. Soon they reached the place which he said was ‘special’…

Outskirt of the city… towards the countryside… Where the roads where still, hardly a sound of living soul… Somewhere away the muted sound of the returning birds can be heard… Life seems at halt for a second with its tranquil and serene ambiance… He escorts her through the luscious green allay alley… What she beholds next dazzles her eye with the beauty she have never witnessed before…

A sparkling calm clear lake… Luminous full moon glowing over the deep azure… It just seemed that one has entered gods own country… Next to this enchanted vista was a table for two with a white table cloth on it a red rose, a bottle of fine wine and a rosy candle… The complete mood was charmed with the alluring panorama…

She looked at him with ardor and a tear rolled down her rosy cheek… Holding her soft hands he pulled her near him and whispered the three little golden words and rolled into the most ecstatic and passionate gesture of emotion… KISS…

Of all, manifestation of power restrain in use of all that power is acclaimed…

Manifestation of power essential means that the people who are acclaimed and admired in the society are powerful and thus this class of the society can use their power and fame for spectrum of gains. But the question is this manifestation of power always acclaimed?? I believe on the fact that hold back of power will help to increase praised from the people from difference walk of the society.

The example that we all have been connected through is, the movies that we see as an entertainment. What we witness in the movies is the “vengeance” factor plays the important role. The person who has been discriminated fights again the powerful but evil-minded villain for freedom and truth. When finally the truth triumph the leading hero will restrain the manifestation of the power and thus he will be highly praised and respected. This simple illustration will help us that restrain of manifestation of power is more appreciated.

The other best example of the restrain of power is that of Mahatma Gandhi, the preacher of peace. During the Indian Independence period he was the most powerful leader. He had been such a powerful persona that each word of his was taken as command. Yet he restrains his manifestation of power and followed the path of harmony and brought the independence by sending the message of peace all over the world.

Hadn’t the Germany restrained the power of manifestation then never there would have been the World War II. Thus the person who preaches peace and humanity is acclaimed and loved the most rather than manifesting the power.

Big mansion, cars, property, brands, money...This is what is been considered as asset when actuating the financially rich people. But what comes behind this people is the regular endurance, the brains and the sweat behind to raise this majestic fame and name. Thus I strongly state that hard work becomes the priority when it comes to achieving the pinnacle. Hence I propose the topic by saying "Financial success can never be achieved without hard work"

To support my statement I want to illustrate and eg. of a sport persona like the cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Without his efforts and consistent hard work he would never have been on the apex position like he is today. He is acclaimed world wide for the efforts he put in! Thus with the hard work he can reach the acme position financially also.

Secondly I want to highlight the work of the Indian industrialist Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani. Hadnt he work harder in his earlier days of like, he hadnt been such a big name in the country and thus he would be merely been acknowledged as son of a school teacher!

Many would counter argument on the issue that the Ambani brothers received this wealth in inheritance. But arent the hard work necessary to sustain and grow the organization?? Yes the brothers were born with the silver spoon in there mouth but today even after there father sad dismissal the inherited wealth kept on growing and still after almost a decade Reliance Industry is one among the top industry in the world.

Thus, i want to conclude with an adage that, "Hard work encourages ordinary people to do extraordinary work"

“Formal educational credentials should be the most important factor in hiring employees.”

Year 2009; Obama, President of United States of America,stated that, "dropping out from high school is not at all the option for America. If they drop out they not only fail them self but they fail for the country also". Thus he recommended that ever Americans should have the formal educations for the progress not only on the personal level but also for there own country. Thus I strongly believe in the statement of president Obama as agree that, formal education is must for every individual for better job prospectus.

Imaging a professional like a doctor, pharmacist or layer without the formal education are practicing?? Then, what a devastating out come would it be!! Thus to ever job there should be some formal education criteria in selection so that the person employed should have the proficiency to exhibit the required task. Without initial education there the task giving to the hired employed cant be effective as required. Thus it will lead to late submissions and will leads to deterioration of the organization name.

Other than the education background other skill should also be testified at the same time. For eg. in todays organisations the employer expect the employee to have skill of leadership, problem solving attitude, inclination towards team work etc. Thus, these skills also should be taken in to consideration at the same time with the educational criteria. In some organisations if the person is lacking in these skill but is profound with his education qualification then the organization spend some time and money for the employee to acquire those skills. But this is simply possible when the a good base is formed that is with formal education.

When its comes to the higher level position like managers then the work experience should also be taken in to consideration. The experience he had in the past can help the organization to climb the ladder of success. But one have to note that the experience the employee have received with the base of formal education itself.

Thus i want to conclude by saying that education plays the most important criteria in the process of hiring the employees. But education hand in hand when it is collaborated with so softs skills and experience makes an ultimate employee.

India Emerges as the hub for clinical Research

India is emerging as the most potential destination for the international drug makers. It has been believed from all over the world that India is booming with the clinical trails and researches.

Clinical trial is the research study by pharmaceutical firms and organizations, conducting drug discovery process to find out more efficient treatment for patients regarding different types of specific disease. Though a beginner in the field it forms the promising place for conducting the researches with it’s clinically expertise attitude.

Low cost and better access to research related material is considered to be the main advantage of India. In addition, it is flourishing to the great heights due to its innovations as it not only empathizes on the traditional medicines but also formulating new small and large molecule therapies. India is preferred by the international drug manufacturers for carrying out the clinical traits at the global level as it can methodically carry out in the reasonable cost and time analyzing the various phases in the trails.

Initiatives are being taken by the Indian government to support the clinical trials market in the country. There are a lot of trials occurring in fields like diabetes, oncology and lifestyle diseases happening in India but to achieve the goal of becoming a global hub of clinical trials, India will have to overcome challenges like unethical trials, delay in trial approval, inappropriate protection of clinical data, and lack of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certified sites and investigators.

Thus, by improving on the weekness and empathizing on GCP India can surley acchive its goal of becoming a global hub for clinical research.

~~THE 60th INDEPENDENCE DAY~~

India is celebrating the 60 years of independence. We are assured and secured that for past 60 years we are having a colorful and a glorious celebrations. But what really was the scene 60 yrs ago??

August 15, 1947 the 1st Independence Day. Great joy and celebration was seen all across the country. New Delhi in particular was the hub of nationalistic fever… hub for nationalism with the gathering of crowds in public places…people from all walks of life gathering and celebrating the free festive of independence…men, boys, gals, ladies all oozing with glory of freedom …glory of independence…glory to see India free. Spirit and enthusiasm was noteworthy. The tricolor hosted and what the world witnessed was only cheerful faces…broad smiles and watered eyes.

Really the spirit was noteworthy. We have been hearing and listening to the stories and reading bout Indian independence fight right from the time we have been understand or the time we can read. But all this is past and of course we are proud of it. But are we really doing anything to sustain the precious gift we got after a 150 yrs of hard struggle? After 1000s of precious life scarifies? Do u think India is really independent after all this??

Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first prime minister gave a speech to the Constituent Assembly at midnight on August 14, 1947. "At the dawn of history India started on her unending quest. She has never lost sight of that quest or forgotten the ideals, which gave her strength. We end today, a period of ill fortune and India discovers herself again." His speech inspired us with ideals about a new beginning for India.Has India lived up to these ideals? Although the British no longer occupy India, is she really independent of their influence? While they were in India, we began to follow their traditions, their philosophies, and their lifestyle. We silently allowed them desecrate our heritage, culture and religion. Yet now, it is we, the Indians that continue to honor those who tried to destroy our culture.

Perhaps the biggest tragedy has been in the area of religion. Yes I am taking bout the recent CASTE RESERVATION SYSTEM! If we are going for reservations on communal and caste bases, we swamp the bright and talented people and remain second rated or even third rated. I want my country to be first class country. This reservation is nothing but a big blot on Indian system. SO discrimination should be stopped

The other biggest issue is poverty…unless people are provided with the basic amenities we can expect them having a discreet and proper approach toward life. Unless poverty is been minimized in fact abolished we can’t think of prosperous growth in the sector of technology and industries. Leave bout the growth in those departments but the basic necessities of knowledge and education cannot be provided unless poverty is abolished. Bold plans should be aimed so that rich, youth could help to the cause. So the elementary but massive problem is POVERTY.

When we stop discriminating between our self and help eradicate poverty issue then only we can be armed with technology, industrialism and the most important power of education and knowledge. Plans like EACH ONE TEACH ONE should be empowered in every literate civilian. Thus slowly we can achieve great heights and fight boldly against the challenges like terrorism, poverty and population and power!

Though India is facing so many problems but we have always seem the growth graph of India rising day by day. We have archived great success in the field of nuclear power, IT, green revolution, milk revolution, in infrastructure and communication. The country pre independent was know as exotic land associated with snake charmers and fakirs lying in beds of nail now is know as a land of immense wisdom and intelligence which have produced many pioneers.

Thought their dedication and hard work and optimism these achievers fueled India’s growth but also gave it international recognition. If CV Raman and Mother Teresa got us noble prize then Satyajit Ray got the 1st Oscar. If Sachin Tendulkar and PT Usha show amazing performance in there game then Birla, Tata, Narayan Muthy and Ambanis in industries and private sector. For some strange reason I always thought my collage will be different than any other collages. Right from the time I was in the school I always used to think I will get the intuition which would be something different really different. And then let me proclaim it to u that I wasn’t wrong at all in any respect! I can bet u there won’t be any other intuition like ours in the whole wide world! (Sarcasm)

Right from the beginning I am attached to such an institution with has some meaningful, devotional names! For example my first school- Little Flowers; or my first school in Mumbai- Shri Ma Bal NIketan; or my school in England- Fairfield Church of England; or my 10th pass out school Jnan Vikas MAndal NES; or further my Jr. college Dhanyansadahna! All have the devotional – significant names connecting with some deity organization name or some significant derivative name of knowledge!

I always thought my college will be some cool, hip-hop, westernized one where life would be fun and friends. A place where I could shout out loud, “I’m alive!”! A place where I could live my life, my own care-free, happy go lucky life! In short a completely different place, different from rest all the colleges! Then let me tell u I found a different place, a really different place; very different, different from the place I expected! I choose to narrate bout my college right from the day I decided to join it!

Saraswathi Vidhya Bhavan College of Pharmacy (SVBCP), like my other institution it too have those devotional touch in name “Saraswathi” and the significant derived name of knowledge “Vidhya”! So it, but-obviously comes in the same category of devotional- significant name touch. Just name after the great educationalist, Jyandra Saraswathi. Anyway moving further, we (me and my parents) decided I will join the institution as it stand on a good position in terms of education and other facilities in Mumbai. Plus as I wanted to pursue my further studies in Pharmacy (even though I wasn’t really sure what it really is except it has my favorite subject Chemistry and also it nether Medical nor Engg and is professional course.) My dad cleared all the procedure and paid the fees and was proud as if Da Vinci just finished Mona Lisa!

Imminently after few days I was called up by the precedent of college for who know what reason! Firstly he announced that college day one (which got postponed for almost a month). Secondly, he explained college rules and regulations; one of which includes WEARING FORMALS!! Can u imagine dress up to college as if ur going for an interview! Thirdly (this surly is going to shatter u out, I guess) to write an acknowledgement! Yes an acknowledgement saying I will show the best of the performance in the college and will be the disciplined student or otherwise I myself will resign from this college!!! Can u believe this!!! Unbelievable but true!! Now what more can u expect regarding the freedom from this college! That time itself I got the notion that this college has its wild side, is lot different; different that I expected!

Day one, 20 September 2006:- I vividly remember as if it was yesterday only! A pink cotton shirt. A decent pair of trousers. Hair neatly clutch. Specks (no lens) to add the extra bit of smartness! That was me, in the required-decent-Formal attire! “Hallo its Priyanka from Thane. What bout u?” this was the most frequently used line that day! The day was with again reminding of the rules, introduction of the teaching and the non-teaching staff members and the long lasting speeches!! Where the only way for the survival was by counting ur breathing! I think it was 16-17 times a minute! The followed the awaited ‘PUJA’!! Yes our college held a PUJA to welcome us, to welcome the new students! The only relishing thing was the yummy food served later and of course the new friends!

Week or two followed by some friendly ragging. I was made to dance on some remix version of ‘Rang Barse’. I got to know on which song I danced only when I asked my friends as I got down from the stage; anyway it was fun! Then regularly lectures were conduct with quick snapping of portions and exams got announce before we could pronounce Pharmacy!

This college sorry, My College is an evolution! A very different of its kind. A college which doesn’t allow u to bunk! Yes u read it right! A place no different than school other than hanging the water-bottles to ur neck! The college gate closes before the first bell, no free lectures, no proxy! The college looks deserted other than the breaks! I think our college is the only college in Mumbai who has parents’ teachers association (PTA). We got an open day when results are been given! We have to submit leave letter or medical certificate if we are absent even for a day! I just feel I am back to school!

Now I can understand why my dad was so happy and proud like the Da Vinci of Mona Lisa on the enrolment day!

Trapped as if in Military system but loving and caring like mummy; sometimes sounds like Dungeon! That’s my college, but only three little words for it – “I’m loving it!”

Who’s rude?? Mumbai??!!! $#@!!

Mumbai the rudest city in the world?? $#@!!!The recent Readers indigestible survey of the worlds 35 cities claims that Mumbai is the rudest city on the earth!! The country which is known for its costumes and traditions, kindness and humanity does not deserve this rude tag!! Mumbai as matter of fact; is 'practical' and does not poke its nose into other people's business.

Mumbai is India's city of dreams, where businesses are born, creativity is nurtured, success meets striving, and art, science, trade and culture come together to paint the Great Indian Dream. Rude is an unwanted adjective for Mumbai! Independent, reliable, resourceful, accommodating, internationally well known, Mumbai is nothing less than a charm and jewel of India.

Mumbaites may not hold doors open, but Mumbai is always ready to welcome people from all parts of worlds to its fold. Yes to make quick bucks they will sell there goods and articles for high price to the white skins but that’s the mercury case in metal! Try out asking a direction in the middle of the street and the best of the guide will illustrate the way! But not like the French with insult at each word! I my self have witnessed the fact! About 6 years back when I was in Paris I asked direction to the world famous Eiffel tower but no one helped out but pulled some filthy gags in French…but the only people helpful were the Mumbai origin who showed us the complete way!!!

Mumbai may not pick your papers up on the street. But Mumbai will always pick itself and its people up from the worst. Where was RD last year on 26/7?? There was no single case of pic-poketing, harassment, or rape reported like in the Katrina floods, US! In fact Mumbai helped out each one in distress without thinking bout oneself! Every single time, Mumbai has picked itself up... let it be a bomb blast or any natural calamity!

Offering a seat to a lady or elderly person in bus or train even if you are deadly tired from your daily office work. Offering water in processions and queue of devotional places for free. Presenting bundles of saris and garments in a shop even the chances of the customer to buy the product is rare as the hair on the bald head! Helping someone get on and off the train. Showing the directions. Smiling instead of saying thank you.

If u call this rudeness then YES Mumbai is rude! Well that is a consolation. But stuff like this is really superficial; Indians undoubtedly have the deeper civility.

And still we are called rude!! Then let’s show the height “I am ready to punch anyone ... who calls Mumbai rude!!”$#@!!

Mumbai ka Shanghai!!!???!!!....

PM Manmohan Singh has just inaugurated the metro railway project in Mumbai. He dreams of converting the potholic-blackholic Mumbai into world class city, Shanghai!!! The ministers are in fact too busy in closing the dance bars, Quota policies and getting these alcoholic drinks in the nookad ka Bannyawalla shop!!

The formula isn’t just too effective. Last year the Economist listed Mumbai as one of the world’s most unlovable cities, consigning it to a global terminal ward!

Here’s why:

We are 18 million people crammed on to one tiny island, with population density of 43,8898 per sq Km.

Real estate prices are so unreal that in downtown Mumbai you could Rs. 60,000 for single sq feet!!

Yet there are 19,846 building in danger of collapsing. And nearly 8 million people – nearly half the people – live in slums, where every public toilet is used by 4000 people!

There is only one bus for every 1300 people and only two public parking spots for every 1000 cars! Moreover a estimated 23,639 potholes on the roads that these cars and buses are traveling on!!

We have water shortage of 1000 million liters. The commodities is so scares that swanky skyscraper have to relay on the private suppliers, and those who cant afford to eat must shell out Rs 20 for a bucket of drink!

With a defect of 1500MW the city is on the verge of power crisis.

We generate 7800 tones of garbage everyday- only half of the garbage of NY- but much of it lie uncollected because there are only three municipal dumps.

Estimates 80% of Mumbai’s slum children are malnourished.

There is only one civic hospital in 1.5 million people, and each year thousands fall pray to typhoid, cholera, jaundice, gastro…

Of course it is not fair to admit that Mumbai elected representative have not turned blind eye to all this but on the contrary, the have actively aided the city, descent it to HELL!

Wired old Uncle Tom, Dick and Harry…

This is the way u feels like replaying the Aunty Sita, Geeta or Rita! But instead u just meekly Smile and move off! Why can’t they simply say ‘Hallo’!

Welcome to the wired world of bad mouthers, blame shifters and boosters (or bast****!!)

In our day to day life we come across variety of people. Place a menu card and u have it! The one with tadkas, the delighted deserts, or just a plan dal!

Relatives! Some one have rightly said “Happy is he the one who have the relatives far apart!” Undoubtly true! I am not blaming any of my relatives but putting forward an in general case cause I my self is someone’s relative! ;)

Relatives are the people we r born with! So even though we feel affection for them or not it’s just we have to generous and really animated with them. Some times moving for a meet with such a folks, you just wonder to get off in the middle and change your name!!

Thought at family get together you feel your life is filled with joy, laughter and warmth but somewhere, somewhere at the corner of ur mind u smell the unusual smell of dread!

There r people who r just too sticky! Just wanna put u on the 7th, no no, the 70th cloud and just want to make u feel too means highly special! Just start to put u in air with words like, “Oh, what a beautiful ear-ring!”(When u knows that u got those ear-rings in Train for just 5 bucks!)!!! I say the Febicol Company can make heaven using them instead of there products!

Others r just the criticizing types or make be the ‘J’ for jealous types. They r just too envious cause, “someone in red is really looking gorgeous”!! Or sometimes in the get together it just happens that Uncle so and so will get drunk and start insulting!

Few r such a type they want to hail u to excellence so always on the track on giving u advices. Sometimes u feel, “Gosh, plz leave me alone. I too have mind. I too can think!” But that’s the way things works…

But here we r the experts! Staying with such a company we our self have gain the art of dealing with such a people that the spoken statement doesn’t much affect us!

Hallo dear ministers, wake up! The sun is high about the head! Have the government and the misters got insane?? Already there is a 27% reservation which is also indeed high and they want to make it 49.5%... Have they lost there mind??

Almost half of the reservation for this really qualifying institutes like IIM, IIT to these STs and SCs and OBCs! Do u really think these people who can’t score great in there basic test can pass with flying colors in the really difficult exams? DO u think they can Shine India on the International ground? Or will shed India with Shame? Do u think they really require the reservation? What have others done then to call as this highly privileged caste? Is it a crime that we are born in so and so caste?? When God himself created people with no discrimination then why should u and I??

If we are going for reservations on communal and caste bases, we swamp the bright and talented people and remain second rated or even third rated. We want my country to be first class country. This reservation is nothing but a big blot on Indian system! It really sucks to have such a ridiculous system! Gone are those days when low caste had no opportunities; and now!!! Being a low caste it’s a great opportunity and a great privilege really!!!

What’s going on? I say, give fee reduction to the poor and deprived people. All should be on bases of merit not on caste and creed! Tell me who I am? Am I a city dweller or a village inhabitant? Am I a Hindu or a Muslim? Am I a SC, ST or Brahmin? I am proud to say I am nun of it!! But let me be more proud saying I am an Indian! What’s the use of reciting the pledge years after year in the school when the government who introduced it itself is disobedient? Because when we are out of our School days through with the pledge we have to fill the college form answering those filthy questions saying who am I?? Please stop this discrimination! Lets live brothers and sisters and more important as Indian!

Caste discrimination is a Big CRIME.

‘Flute’

This incident took place almost a month ago. I was sitting in my room getting my brain twisted in my Physics Problems. Even the nabours murmur and the children’s shouts disturbed my concentration and then instantly I used to get aggressive and throw tantrums and talk on my tedious and tension’s terminals approaching.

Suddenly, in this clamor and clatters some other mode of sound appeared. Something that’s different than the before. Something really sweet, something really soothing, some thing that made my heart sing!

It was a drift of ‘flute’. I wondered over the marvel of the tune. The admiration and astonishment built up my awe to find out who the worthy was! Gushing up and down in my apartment just trying to figure out who the unusual was! Then, getting on the streets freely wondering just like the wind with no botheration of world around me just abut the ‘tune’ rushing from the old classics to the new ‘dhin-chak’! Slowly the tune grew louder and louder… As the melody approached nearer and nearer the tussle to get familiar with the person cropped up.

There! There! There at the corner of the street! He was an old man, dressed in rags. (I though may be beggar!!!) Yet a mild but modest smile boasted on the timid face. But where was the flute?? In his one hand swung a plastic bag smudged with soil and dust and in other hand, all I could see is about 2 inch cane piece and blows it by mouth and a melodious tune stirred in the air!

I approached the man and asked the person what the thing was? Quickly he digged in the bag and got the instrument. It was about 2 inch in length and 1 inch in breadth. It had two cane pieces tied up together one above other and sandwiched in between is a small sheet of rubber. Hold it lengthwise in front of the mouth and just give a blow! And then a lovable tune will arise!

I awarded the person with 10 bucks for his invention and incredible sense of music! In return he gave me back 5 bucks and gave the tiny thing without a word. I merrily toddled was way back joyous but blowing the thing just like the dragon horn! Hopefully none of my friends were around to see my childish behavior.

Later on when I came home my Physics Problems were no more a problem but I become a terrible problem to my mother’s head-ache with the tiny thing!

Review of the book - ‘The Alchemist’.

Recommended to all the dreamers!

Almost after a year I have touched some other book other than my diseased T.B., yes the Text Books! The book played a vital role in my journey from Manali to Delhi. But moreover the book has played a more significant role in my life.

This is a magical fable about following ur Dreamz (just like my Blog!). It’s a journey of a simple shepherd boy from his Home in Spain to Egypt in search of worldly treasure.

The story teaches us the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, learning to read omens along life path and above all following our dreams. It inspires us to follow our dreams by seeing world throught ur eyes and not someone else’s!

I would say, Paulo Coelho through his prestigious writing have an impressing impact on my mind and just have put back a broad shimmering smile on my face. This book has changed my way of looking at people. One thing which I have cultured and which was “must”, the most essential in my life is “LIFE MUST GO ON”! We meet loads of people in our life but it’s next to impossible that we stay forever with each of them. Yes it is true, people make impression and impacts on our mind and thoughts but it is not necessary that v have to be ought to be with them for rest of the life. They r part of our story doing there little role and helping us to follow our own dreams and if there role ends there then… that’s what the script demands. There is no need to be emotional about it and shed tears just because all depends on “Muktab”, the destiny!

In this Holiday sequence, it just slipped off my mind telling u bout my exams. Well the exams went pretty well no doubts. But let me tell u 1 stunning fact. Well this examination of my made me poetess! Really…

Well, we had essay on “City Life”. So as usual to get a striking start I begin to play with words and not even in a minute, I was thoroughly ready with a spectacular poem on city life! I my self am stunned and surprised with my abilities! So I decided to put forth this poem of my on the blog… So here it is…

Under a cement life,

HOli Day!

Now that’s the title that seems to be just as the previous post of my but remember that there is a space in between the two words Holi AND Day.

Anyway, Happy (belated or can it be in advanced ;)) Holi to u everyone!

Well we do celebrate this festival with all pomp and gust but do we really know what’s the real meaning of the festival. Well I will give u a brief idea on it. Yes I wont hog-pog u people with lengthy lectures as we our self know how much v love the enlighten talks(!!!) but being the true Indian I think v should all know the importance of this jolly and jovial gala other that the water spill and the colors! I will be really brief really swear…

The colorful festival of Holi, literally means 'burning', is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Phalguna and herald the onset of spring season. Holi is the time when people from all castes and social strata come together forgetting all past differences and grievances. Now (as we all know or to the foreigner who visits my blog!!) this festival is celebrated with the use of color and water throwing on each other. This is last of all Indian festival.

So that was the really brief bout the festival. Anyway, I had real fun real carnival on the day. Almost after 3 years I have been on ground to play the color and just had blast. This was my fist holi in my new dwelling. So I didn’t had mucho past grievances with anyone but made lots of new friends. Tough I don’t know if I would recollect everyone by there faces as all were in red, green, yellow, pink and gold and silvers but will soon get accustomed to them when I will meet them once again in there normal looks. But I thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.

But the worst part was being in the bathroom for almost a film show removing the colors thought the traces are still visible. And moreover the tanned body and worst hair is just killing me. God knows when it will be back to normal. But I think that’s what u has to pay off for the tremendous zestful time one has!

Anyway, keep looking at my blog as I may (in fact I should though I have to prepare for my entrances) be posting frequently.

Holiday

The horizon was tingling red. With the company of “Paulo Coelho”, “Alchemist”, (the boy who traveled) and my ears eavesdrop on the jingle such as …

“O yoyo, its ur Birthday… (50 cents)”
“Tere leya hum hai jeeyee (Veer-Zaara)”
“Kajra re… (The hit)”
“Ye tere akhiya… (Punjab mix)”

The roads had lots of twists and turns just as the boy’s life in the book. The lavender air gushed in my FREE soul of the moving van in the deep but beautiful valley and titanic view of the river “Beas”. Free just because I have just finished my exams, free because YO man I am on Vacation!! Guess where…

U may be thinking just as the Preeti Zinta says in Salaam Namaste... “Whats going on…???...” Then hold on I am here to clarify ur all doubts. OK lets go systamatic…

4th March end of my exams. O ya the exams went really well. All my efforts paid offf! Phew!!!

ON 4th March itself I set of to the greatest time of my life, towards the north to Simla-Kullu-Manali!!

Here I go!! Set on fligt to Delhi at night late 1130-0000. Was in air after almost 6years so was really facinted with the view of the eluminted Mumbai. Different radiant of light with different colour, wavelenght, amplitude & frequency.(Oh man am I so influneced by my Physics using such words??!!?? Anyway…) Infact a travellers delight to see such a fantastic bright--- my city Mum-bhai!

Next day morning set from Delhi seeing Raj Ghat ,Red fort etc. Haji, eating Paratha soratha and roti shothi, or Makai di Roti & sorso da sarr!! Hajji, the accent of spreaking also changed a lot, ji! After all we were reciding in Sheer-E-Punjaaabb!

Evening reaching to Simla. Oh man what a chill. Temperature was around 3 degree and I dressed in cool cotton of our Mumbai! Next day to set our ride to Kufree on horse back !! What a beauty! Can’t imagine god can be so graceful! The way towared the Maata mandir was so beautiful and facenating that just kept ur eyes wide and plus the snow fall on the way back added the glory. Even though it was automn season it was so gloreous then how would it be when it is spring,wonder!! Swear the ride on the horse back for about 7-8Km 1way was fantastic! Took some snaps riding on Yak (swear I saw Y for Yak first time in life!) and some snaps wearing the Himachal Pradesh or the Pahadi area dress. I think I looked really adorable in the red costume.
Evening spent on Mall street buying gifts to kiths and kins.

6th March whole day journey towards Manali with lots of pictorial sight. Rest at a exortic hotel.

7th March towards Snow Point Rothang Pass. IT is almost 7000 feet high. Oh man wha fun we had I just can express it in words. Snow every-where, sliding in the white, game of snow balls, skiing (even thought I collasped a lot!), and just sliding! Man what a fun! For a minite I thoght I am I am back to my childhood to sucha extend I enjoyed, till all my cloths went wet.But back to room terrible thought I cheered the movements but have to warm my seft to hilt in hot bath and heater.

Next day all set to a treck to Solang valley. Almost 12km treck in complete snow track with the beauty u would hardly imagine. Snow and snow and just snow everywhere. Walked all in snow and heavy snowfall in negative temperature towards a temple of lord shiva at the hight. In the end we had to walk barefooted 100 steps to the temple!! OH mind Blowing experience ! In sucha chill, walking bare footed was an exortic phenomenon! I sweere! To walk till the end, I was the only female, yo yo yo ! Cheereo! And imagine what kinda cloth we were wearing…just as the Flintstone on the Cartoon Network!! But look really cute-pie!
That day futher saw the age old(during the time of Mahabharata) Hidimba Mata Temple and apple gardens.

9th March went to Kullu. Saw a handloom Shawala factory. It was really intresting to know how the Shawalas are made with sucha lot of efforts. It almost takes 4-5 days for a skilled labour to make a simple Shawala. Further say some temples on the way and Kullu valley. I don’t really know why the Kullu valley have gained sucha importance cause thing the valley is just as a ordinary valley like any other valley. But anyways…
Went to Naggar to see a collection of paintings and handicraft of the great painter Nicloues Rorich. The collection was reallly informative giving lot of info on the mountains valleys and people living in the area. The day ended with shopping at the Mall Street with some gift articles and sweaters & shawlas.

Next day was complete travel day as we travelled long way almost 300Km towards Chandigad and saw the garden called Pinjore (the place where Pandawas recided dureing there time of exile ). It’s a enormous garden vastly spreed in 7 acres and different fruit and flower vegitation. Silence and towards the nature beauty was the mae aspect of the place.

11th March last day. Travel day in fact. Chandighard to Delhi by the van and then Delhi to my Mumbai by train Rajdhani (Super fast train yar 2km/min. Tooo cool man and lot of lip smaching food!)

Now back to MY MUM-BHAI. Chillaxed my time and freshly ready towards my Entrance prepration.

Triumph and tragedy Year 2005

2005 signified the beginning of a new era. This was a year which saw new icons claim their spot in the limelight while older ones started fading away. It was a year of unending successes for some & never-ending struggle for some. But I guess that happens every year!

For some the year was full of empowerment & enlightens but for some the year was of embarrassment & really ekes! Some had gained a lot other had bundles of pain! Some shined high at the apex some hid then down under the pillow with shame! On some peoples face a huge smile was bestowed and others even sight to have been suppressed. Thus year was rapchi blend of gali and tali!!

Who was hero in 2005? Manmohan Singh? Or, was it Nitish Kumar? Amitabh Bachchan? Shah Rukh Khan? Dhoni or Sania Mirza?
Well I think the real champions are The Singhs!!(??). I mean Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the other SMS! So sorry! Other respected Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh!
Talking about India, my very own motherland then I could possibly suggest that certainly it is on the successful path of empowerment. Firstly, true confession to the leader of our country that they have done a splendid job. The combo of Manmohan Singh and A.P.J. Abdul KAlam has really been a boon to the country. Yes, Mr. Manmohan Singh has also proved himself who has successfully monitoring and running the Government by crossing each and every difficulty by using his brain and support of the honorable Precedent Kalam. Though I am illiterate in Indian politics but the daily newspaper provided us the needful. And business!! I can say this so just because of the Indian sensex is racing towards the sky limits! Cheerio! (Don’t forget the gold price also!!) I don’t know mucho about this but reading the daily broadsheet I have understood that economy had great year in terms of growth. The stock market reached unpredictable heights and India has been hot new destination for foreign investments! Hurray!
Politics took critical twists and turns in this year. 2005 is year to remember as an end of Lalu raj and victory of Nitish Kumar. Lalu raj which has there for number of years is finally getting a message from public! Fall of Lallu & Rabri raj....better late than never! Now, again the British concept of “Divide and Rule” (though not exactly!?!) is vastly emerging. Few of the examples are given by, by the two Ambani brothers- Anil and Mukesh plus the colonial cousins Raj and Uddhav THakheray!

Anyway, 2005 saw Sania Mirza, Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, MS Dhoni. Irfan Pathan, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar and others rule the roost. Yester year celebrities like Sachin(though recently he broke a record!) & Shah Rukh Khan saw a relatively stagnant year, while it saw the beginning of the end of the Saurav Ganguly era (Though he commanded 75% of the media space & people attention span!).
The concept of bubbly fun filled film like “Bunty Aur Babli” proved to be a great entertainer. The phehali of the film “Phehali” nominated to Oscars is stilled to be solved! And the serious and the sensuous formula of “Black” impacted on youth the importance of the “3-Ds”that are dedication, determination and devotion.

Year 2005 is the best example to prove “Nature Rules”!! The year has proven in obvious but domino effect that global warming is slowly but surely spreading its wrath on the common man!! The worst snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir in quite sometime, the worst rainfall of the century in Mumbai, the worst floods in many years in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, terrible earthquake on the border or Indo-Pak -- to give a few examples!! Its high time every individual started believing in the biggest challenge that mankind is going to face otherwise The Day After Tomorrow may just be a block away!!

And what was the moment you remember most -- in joy, grief, anything -- from the year slipping by? The day of the Delhi blasts? Or the day India won the Test Series against Sri Lanka?? Tattoos... I-pods... Camera cell phones… MMS…? Or that irritating Aashiq banaya aapne ring tone? ? And many more hip-happening event…

ON personal fond, the year 2005 was the worst year. The year that I will never ever forget in my life. Many things took place for first time and by and large the downbeats. I hope the New Year 2006 will come with joy, progress and new achievements not only for me, but for you and to everyone.

Happy New Year!

With GREAT RESPECT, WITH GREAT LOVE, I welcome you all with all my heart.

Yahoo! Hurray! It’s begun! We’ve crossed the threshold! Here we are in the moonlit new year of 2006. It’s so new. It’s so bright. It’s so transparent. It’s so tender. It’s so caring. It’s so mysterious. It’s delightful. It’s promising. It is sparkles with good humor. It’s so shimmering. It is melodious. It is precious. It carries deep wisdom like the moonlit every year. It is as unique as every other New Year.

Anyway, when the year actually changes, what really happens? But obvious, we too travel with time. It feels great, doesn’t it? Time is such great revealer, such a wise teacher (but unfortunately it kills all its pupils!), such a glorious asset. Time is a sweet companion or sometimes a solid scold. Time is a lover. Time is a secret (Beware you are in for SCARE!). Time is ever playful, ever open and expansive. Time, the great equalizer, resonates with the Truth.

When you are unhappy, times appears to be long. Do recollect the time sitting for an extended, chewing gum type of monotones lecture?!!?
When you are happy times appears to be too short. At this instant, you feel time is great illusion and lunch time doubly so!!
When mind is dull or unconscious we are unable to experience time. Just give a marathon run and sleep, and then doesn’t the bed seem to be too cozy?? Hush! You’re certainly going for a slumber with not even a tiniest idea of time.
When you feel time is too short then your certainly are restless (or may be too much aware).What the heck, why do the exams comes so soon; I have to study this, write this, by heart this and bla bla bla. Oh, don’t you feel just a week God just a week, I just can’t manage time. OR is it that I am going to take time management lesson just as soon as I can work it in to my schedule!!
When you feel time is too long you are really going to feel miserable (or you may be a bit more too keen type of person.) Don’t you recollect that class-8 or 9, Geometry exam or your Engg. Exam and the person in front of you are writing in a gush and you’re just doing nothing other that playing with your erasers and pencils. How do u feel then...
When you are ahead of time it’s really dragging and boring. For that then simply try being punctual (that too is really sufficient enough in today’s world)!! And when the time is ahead of you! Phew!! You’re just shocked and surprised. But I think no man goes before time. Ask why?? Because the man’s boss don’t leave him early!! (I know, its a fully faltoo PJ! Ok let’s get going further.)
BUT WHEN you are in high spirits (I just can’t guarantee bout being drunk) and in love (Oh, my my my ...) you simply don’t feel the time. In fact you feel you are the time and events happen in you, just as if the clouds come and go in the sky.

Isn’t it wonderful just to travel with time? When you flow with time, you are not rushing towards the next event. You are not always thinking there is something better waiting just around the end. Nor do you drag your feet, trying to cling to memories of the good old days. (Or do we??) When you are in sync with time, you know you are in the right place, at the right tune, and with the right people. When you move with time, your wisdom grows to elevated pinnacle.

New Year is such a special time, it thought happen (may be for first few days of the so called as New Year but it does happen OK??!) you woke up and your inner courage steeping up to take the re-evolve old but presented in a brand new box of gold and steel to mark the line of New Years Resolution. With setting up the rules and the regulations and all the set of laws of “Ring in the New and Ring out the Old” your heart get contented and you feel have tasted the nectar to achievement to carry out the task set ahead of you even thought your not at all sure of the triumph till the next new year!! BUT still we all are so immersed in the delicious pool of contentment that ever New Year seems like a fragrance silky jasmine breeze.

Further as the year goes by our zooming jet of spirit, enthusiasm, eagerness, zeal, zest of passion for fulfillment of the Resolution fade by just as the old memories. And that’s the world proclaim secret of these so called as Resolution.
For some time is such a great gifted window that it opens and extensive opportunities to look in to the oozing avenues of its future. For some time is just a 9 to 5 dull and droning job. For some it could be a black blank page just as we have witnessed in the past with the Tsunami, the floods and the rains.

Thus time is nothing but FATE which unrevils its new page everyday.

SO, may the all mighty bless you with well organized time and bring joy and happiness to you in the New Year and make your ride of life flourishing and blooming.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed the scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belong to him and other belong to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one sent of foo6tprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it, “Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome time in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.”

The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child, I, love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and sufferings, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

The Funny Language Called English

English is a stupid language.
